Equine Assisted Learning is a way of learning that is experienced through the horses. It’s not horsemanship and it’s not learning about horses but learning about yourself and how you operate in the world. When these behaviors are discovered, there’s an opportunity to choose. When behaviors are undiscovered, they become automatic. We adhere to the high professional standards of practice of the eagala model with a strong code of ethics.
This work is always facilitated in a team with a qualified equine specialist and a licensed mental health professional and live horses. Experiential learning is proven to be retained because you learn by doing.
